WEEE - Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment

To ensure compliance with The Hazardous Waste Regulations (NI) 2005 and in accordance with the newly implemented WEEE Directive (1st July 2007), Avenue Recycling Ltd can offer a collection, processing and disposal service for WEEE waste streams as detailed below:

• CRT units (TVs & Computer Monitors)
• PC Base Units
• Keyboards
• Printers
• Photocopiers
• Fax Machines
• IT Equipment
• Miscellaneous Electronic Equipment
• Fluorescent light tubes

Avenue Recycling will collect the WEEE from your premises and transport it to out sorting depot where it will be categorised, weighed in and will undergo the initial stages of processing. The WEEE is then forwarded on to licensed processing facilities where it will undergo further specialist end processing. A fully auditable paper trail is compiled throughout the processing journey. As part of our service we will complete all required documentation and consignment note administration. A client copy of all documentation will be provided to you as confirmation of processing.

All waste collected by Avenue Recycling is transported and treated in accordance with the Hazardous Waste Regulations (NI) 2005 and The Controlled Waste (Duty of Care) Regulations (NI) 2002.
